Use products before "best by" date indicated. Light affects shelf life, so store in a cool, dark place. Refrigeration helps extend shelf life.

We have chosen base carrier oils and butters that are stable with relatively long shelf lives on their own. We do not add anything artificial to preserve or improve appearance, color, texture, or alter the natural state of our raw ingredients.  Therefore, discoloration may occur over time.   

Avoid introducing water into product containers to avoid mold and bacterial growth.

Extreme temperature changes may affect product viscosity; natural ingredients may even partially settle or separate. Do not worry, this will not alter effectiveness. Simply shake or stir to reincorporate any ingredients that may have settled or separated. If you prefer, during hot summer months you can refrigerate approximately 15-30 mins to help re-solidify contents (bonus — this method will feel cool against your skin!).

Our ingredients that are generally Food Grade, however, products are sold for external use only.

Essential oils ("EO") are volatile oils, so please exercise extreme caution whenever using. EOs should not be taken internally or applied to skin without first diluting. Our EO usage rate is generally less than 2%.

Patch test first and discontinue use if any adverse reaction occurs.
